On August 25, Swing by Golfbaren in Stockholm will reopen for guests after being closed for a long time during the pandemic. With its popular concept and a staff of full of faith in the future, the establishment reclaims its place as Stockholm's most popular meeting place for miniature golf, food and drink in the true American 1930s spirit.
Swing by Golfbaren in Vasastan is the flagship of the Golfbaren group. During the pandemic, the indoor facility has been closed for a long time, but now founder Hans Olofsson and his staff can finally welcome both private guests in smaller as well as slightly larger groups and corporate customers again. With the new premiere on August 25, they see a bright future for the new miniature golf facility, even though times for the industry are still strained.
- It's a long-awaited reopening and we're all excited. Our wonderful and caring staff, who we have worked so hard to be able to keep has really missed all the lovely guests. The times are special, but we are also confident that we have plenty of space and a good habit of adapting to prevailing circumstances. Minigolf is social and enjoyable at just the right distance," says Hans Olofsson.
Swing opened in February 2017 and has become a natural and popular meeting place for minigolf and mingling. The whole concept, from decor to music, food and the design of the miniature golf courses, is inspired by the prohibition era of the 1930s, the period when miniature golf really took off, especially in the USA.
Previous guests will recognize the Golf Bar's unique character and personality that permeates all parts of Swing. In addition to the mini-golf courses themselves, they have two cocktail bars and the restaurant plus back pocket with its high-class kitchen where the concept has been further refined. In addition, Golfbaren has strengthened its team with Alexander Erwik as event manager to offer parties and customer events at a new level.
- The first time I did an event at Swing by Golfbaren, I immediately fell in love with the venue and the warm professional embrace that the team here delivers. Many of the guests who have visited some of the events I have organized here over the years have asked and longed for us to open again and therefore the autumn already seems to mean many exciting events in the premises, whether it is a kickoff, after work, conference or party, Swing is on the notes, says Alexander Erwik.
