The golf bar opens new in Nacka Strand

Hans Olofsson and Peter Eriksson, the founders of Golfbaren Nacka Strand.

Sometimes location is everything. That's why Nacka Strand was the obvious choice when Golfbaren was looking for a new location for its expansion. The shovel has already been put in the ground for their new mini-golf facility on the quayside next to the fairway at Stockholm Stream, with a planned opening in mid-May.

Already established with outdoor facilities in Kristineberg, Aspudden, Jungfrusund and the indoor venue Swing in central Stockholm, Golfbaren Nacka Strand offers sharp mini-golf on artificial grass together with good food and drink.

- We are opening a classic golf bar as we love to do it, with fun mini-golf courses, good food and drinks in a lovely environment. With views over the water towards the city and Djurgården, it is difficult to find a better place for miniature golf. Here you can really drop in just as you are, day or evening, with your family, group of friends or for an after work with your colleagues, says Golfbaren's founder Hans Olofsson, Swedish champion in minigolf 2020.

Kajen in Nacka Strand is a unique urban development project that, thanks to the property owner Pefab with Peter Eriksson at the helm, has developed into a vibrant meeting and activity place for local residents and visitors. In addition to Golfbaren's mini-golf with an impressive lakeside location, there are paddle courts, training, activities, restaurants and marine activities - always with water and nature close by.

Although the pandemic has hit the entire restaurant and event industry hard, and Golfbaren has been forced to keep large parts of its operations closed for over a year, they are now moving forward. The first new stop will be Nacka Strand.

- We are happy to launch a new facility despite the challenging situation. When you have a passion, you fight even harder. So we are extra proud to become an important player on the Quay, which is an exciting destination. Nacka Strand has long been a well-known tourist destination and with home stays and boat commuting, the number of guests and residents to the area will only increase. Shortly, we hope to be able to present several new exciting miniature golf ventures that will open in Stockholm in 2021. But why not start with a round at Kajen? says Hans Olofsson.

Our indoor facility Swing by Golfbaren opened in February 2017. Here the grass is greener, the cocktails more sophisticated and the atmosphere a little more swinging 30s.
