WE TELL THE HISTORY OF MINIGOLF

WORLD CHAMPION
BRINGS NEW TREND TO SWEDEN

"We are now joining the international minigolf boom here in Sweden and I believe in a strong development in the coming years. Swing will give visitors a trip back in time where the 30s are at the center. It is possible to play dressed up and even in high heels - although you might want to kick them off if you want to challenge me," says Hans Olofsson, multiple world champion in minigolf and founder of Swing by Golfbaren.

SWINGING BACK
TO THE PROHIBITION ERA

It is not for nothing that our whole soul breathes the American Prohibition era. In the 1930s, mini-golf exploded as a movement - especially in the alleys and on the roofs of skyscrapers in New York. At the same time, alcohol was completely banned and the fabled speakeasy era of secret bars emerged.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLE: MARY

Mary Pickford was not only Hollywood's greatest darling and silent movie actress of the 1920s and 1930s. She was also crazy about miniature golf! So much so that she opened her own miniature golf course in 1930 with her husband Douglas Fairbanks. Of course we named our speakeasy bar & Chambre Séparée "Mary Pickford's office" after her. Haven't visited this secret room yet? Book our "Mary Pickford's choice" combo.

SHINE ON THE TRACK!

We'll teach you how to putt like a real miniature golf champion and not like a bandy pro ;). For practical tips on how to best psych out your opponents, to how to choose the right club to shine at the next kick-off, AW or friend's party - feel free to watch the instructional video.
