The 2024 Sundbyberg Championships have been decided.
Over 70 happy minigolf amateurs had a fun full day at Golfbaren Sundbyberg.
We saw many both good and bad putts, but in the end, the best was Team Längsta Drive.
After rounds 15+15 and a total of 30 strokes in the final and an exciting playoff against Team Tony & Putte, the victory was secured.
Joakim Demegård & Erik Petersson will now travel with the Swedish Putting Team to the USA to play on the professional minigolf tour this fall.

On Saturday, March 16, probably the most beautiful competition of the year takes place. SM, Sundbybergs-Mästerskapen in minigolf for 2-man teams at Golfbaren Sundbyberg in Signalfabriken, Sundbyberg. (You do not need to be a resident of Sundbyberg to participate in the competition).
The winning team will not only be able to take pride in being Sundbyberg's champion, they will also receive a paid flight and a starting place in a professional mini-golf competition in the USA, where they will be playing for large amounts of dollars and an experience of a lifetime. In addition to Golfbaren's founder Hans Olofsson, other travelers to the USA include several of the Sundbyberg golf club's top players.

Entry fee per team
The entry fee for Sundbybergs-Mästerskapen 2024 is 500:- per team and is paid at registration. The competition is only intended for happy amateurs. Professional golfers or licensed golfers may not participate this time.
The entry fee is non-refundable but it is ok to put in reserve players if necessary.

Game schedule March 16th with approximate times, NOTE! both players must be in place no later than 14.45!
12.00-14.00 - voluntary warm-up in the bar and on the track
14.30-15.00 - input only from competitors on the track
15.00 - START OF THE RACE 2-LAP QUALIFIERS
17.00-18.30 - dinner break and bar (no play on the track for the finalists)
18.30-20.00 - Final game 2 rounds for the 12 best teams in the qualifiers.
21:00 The winning team will be selected and play a challenge and exhibition match against two bangolf stars and US travelers from the bangolf club Sundbyberg and last year's winner Kevin & Antonio.
The start list will be published on Thursday or Friday, but due to the number of entries, you start your first round between 15-16 regardless of the number in the field.
NOTE! Please bring an audience, Golfbaren Sundbyberg is open as usual 12-24 this day, but the golf is closed for the competition 14-20.00.
Rules in brief:
Golfbarens own competition ball for SM (the same model as Golfbarens regular ball).
Play with any putter.
Golfbarens rules according to the scorecard, review on site before the start.
Game form best ball, both in the team play, best score counts each hole, the team chooses who putts first, ok to play for player 2 even if player 1 puts a hio.
Reasonable pace of play important.
Hans Olofsson, the founder of Golfbaren, is a judge and competition director on site.

Our kitchen and bar are open between 11:00 and 24:00 on the day of the competition.

Sundbyberg Mini Golf Championships 2023
Kevin Dorbegi & Antonio Tvrtkovic, last year's championship winners with the team "Långt ifrån". In mid-November, their winning journey took them to Scottsdale, USA, where they played the final of the Popstroke Tour Championship. The boys trained hard and put in a strong performance, finishing in a tie for 15th place and winning $930, just one stroke behind, among others, the PGA Tour's top-ranked putter Taylor Montgomery.
